ABOUT MR. RYALS
Mr D.A.Ryals - B.Sc(Hons), M.Sc, S.R.Ch, MCPod, HCPC(Reg), PGCert
General Podiatrist & Specialist in Podiatric Biomechanics
Mr. Ryals is the principal Podiatrist at Wakefield Podiatrists and has 24 years experience working in the private and public healthcare sectors. He holds numerous professional memberships and has a Masters degree in Podiatric Biomechanics and a Bachelors with Honours degree in Podiatric Medicine. Mr. Ryals has lectured Biomechanics at Wakefield college on the Sports Science BTEC/HND qualification and spent ten years at Cantley NHS Podiatric Foot Surgery department assessing and anaesthesting patients for surgery where he set up the Biomechanics Department in the Cantley Podiatric Surgery Department. He held the post of Specialist in Podiatric Biomechanics within the NHS. He is regularly called upon to produce medico-legal reports but mainly concentrates his time in private practice where his main interests are biomechanics, diagnostic imaging, trauma mechanics and orthotics.
